Make Changes to a Signals Dashboards

Learn how to make changes to dashboards in Signals.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you are the owner of a dashboard (meaning you created the dashboard), you have full capabilities to make changes to the dashboard and reports on it.

If you are not the owner of a dashboard (i.e., it is a shared dashboard that another user created), you will have View Only access, with more limited capabilities.

See below the actions you can take to make changes to a dashboard, along with details on whether only the dashboard owner or everyone has the ability to perform each action

Dashboard-Wide Actions

Most actions on a dashboard are taken via the menu in the top right side of the dashboard.

Present Dashboard (available to owners and non-owners)

Enter presentation mode, which shows a cleaned-up version of the dashboard, and allows you to present the dashboard directly from the platform. In Presentation Mode, the menu options at top right change to Exit Presentation Mode and Save as PDF.

Customize Dashboard (available to dashboard owners only)

Allows you to add or change the logo displayed on the dashboard.

Duplicate Dashboard (available to owners and non-owners)

Allows you to duplicate the dashboard. This is a great option for a dashboard where you have View Only access, but want to make changes. Since you are not the owner and cannot directly edit the original dashboard, you can duplicate it, and then make changes.

Save as PDF (available to owners and non-owners)

Report-Specific Actions

While on a dashboard, you can access the menu on any individual graph in the top right side of that graph. To export the graph, refresh the data on the graph, pin the graph to another dashboard, delete the graph from the dashboard, or configure the report.
